I visited the canyon lake at sunset. I started with an ink sketch of the scene. I let the paint do most of the work for value and hue. The I began to soak to paper and applied the color, allowing it to flow where is wanted. the paper buckles a little and after drying it stretches back out. darken the foreground to give it depth. www.lazink.com #painting #cactus #mountains #watercolor #watercolorpainting
